    'Merging' planning and PD

A non material amendment would be the submission of the scheme B elevations and a justification that the wider dormer/hip to gable would be PD anyway. But planners can be obnoxious idiots so there is that, there is also no definition of what is non-material amendment and what isn't.

Have I made a mistake with my floor?

So do you have a 100m gap around the perimeter or not?

    'Merging' planning and PD

Effectively what you're doing is a hip to gable conversion which itself would be PD. So it begs the question how do you sleep at night? If you're of a nervous imposition then you could consider putting in a non-material amendment application. The problems can arise because planners can be...

    'Merging' planning and PD

So is the only difference between what you have planning for (lets call that scheme A) and what your architect says you can build (scheme B) only that the dormer is wider in scheme B? If so it begs the question why you didn't shown the dormer wider for the planning app. Assuming the above is...

Best way to fix a chipped mirror?

It looks to me like the mirror is embedded in a framed metal door, presumably it's glued in with something or other, in which case I would have though you could remove the mirror form the frame and replace it. But as above better pics are needed.

    A6 vs E6

Sure but why give yourself the hassle when an extended warranty will achieve similar without the pain. You can still fall back on the CRA. You couldn't pay me to buy from Currys (again).

https://www.avforums.com/threads/43a6ntuk-vs-43e6ntuk.2516382/ Though don't know why you'd buy from Argos when your get a 5yr warranty chucked in with JL, even longer with Richer Sounds though my experience of the Richer Sounds warranty claim was diabolical.

    Toshiba TV remote not working

Probably a duff remote control, we've gone through a few in this household, buy one off Amazon that has at least a few reviews, then easy to return if it turns out not to be the remote. TV remotes these days are rubbish, except the LG one that seems of have stood the test of time ....
