    Water Stopcock 22mm x 25mm

    I have remove this stopcock under the kitchen sink , and replacing it with a new stopcock due to old one leaking, I am unable to drop the 25mm nut onto 25mm pipe. It seem too tight I am even bought another stopcock but the same problem. The 22mm end fits ok. The orginal nut fits on ok. Any ideas...

    No the leak is not from spindle, it seems to be coming from well below the spindle. I want to replace it completely. So if I can the mains valve from outside would help me get removed.
