    Piccaso, Thanks again, i have used John Guest Speedfit plastic pipe and fittings. Dont know if it has any relevance but the kitchen tap is a mixer type and the symptom is apparent when running both the hot and the cold.

    Thanks for that, checked the stop cock and confirmed it is fully open. I removed the end from the tap (Filter assembly dont know the correct name) and found a little bit of dirt. However the symptoms still persist. Any feed back much appreciated Cheers
