I have just fitted a new one of those fro m screwfix but it is open at the spigot end. Surely someone must make a blanking cap that size. Thanks for posting.

Does anybody know where I can get a threaded blanking cap that is 50mm between the threads? I can only find 32mm ones. The 40mm spigot connector fits on my undersink pipework but need a blanking cap in case I have to disconnect the washer.

Just opening the lockshield valve fully seems to have cured it, so in a way I suppose it was a balancing problem even though I did not have to adjust any of the others. Thanks again.
