I have a 26 yr old Ariston oven, hob and extractor fan which were in the house when we moved in, a new build. Extractor has worked fine bur fan on/ speed switch has been playing up. Sometimes it comes on and other times it won't without giving the casing a whack. Does the switch panel lever off as I would like to check the switch inside? Obviously I would turn the power off first.
