I'm planing on redoing the kitchen, and am considering an integrated hob/oven with an extractor fan above the hob. I have the boiler in the kitchen, wall mounted. I'm wondering is it suitable to put the extractor fan just next to the boiler (with the hob under the fan)? Or is that considered bad practise? Other option is to have a cupboard inbetween, but I end up having to move a power socket (ends up behind the hob) then...which is a bit of a pain.
