I would put a cutting disc on the cracks just to open them up a bit and then use TOUPRET filler. I did mine 3 years ago and it worked well.

That looks as though it could be a threaded socket ? if so you can get BSP threaded waste fittings as per this picture.

You can get a 3/8th BSP street elbow that is male x female and will do what you want.

You've probably got some grit in the ballcock..An easy enough job with some grips.

Or use manifolds and microbore for a quicker heat build up and less heat loss. Plus more flexible for a DIYer...easier to bend.

You need a length of skirting the same colour as the panel or flooring.

Show us a pic of the tap thread.If it's just a normal 3/4 tap thread then just buy what i showed above but both ends female and use some ptfe tape to seal it.

I used an electric planer on mine to take the ribs off.A lot of white powdery dust but done the job.

Run a timber around the inside of the wall and screw through into the worktop from underneath.Pre drill the timber to make it easier to fix worktop.
