Hi There,
I am upgrading my heating and have a quick question.
My Combi boiler is downstairs.
My intention is to run a flow and return loop for downstairs and a separate one for upstairs, teeing off each in 15mm pipe to the rads.
I would tee off the 22mm pipe downstairs to create the 2 separate loops.
My question being would I have an issue with all the hot water staying downstairs as that's the path of least resistance?
Thanks
Phil.

No, you can balance the system if required but most likely not needed. Don't run the 15mm too far, use some 22mm if it is a large system.

Thanks for your reply, the 15mm pipe will only be short runs as most will be 22mm.

Or use manifolds and microbore for a quicker heat build up and less heat loss.
Plus more flexible for a DIYer...easier to bend.
