Hi All Octopus has today fitted my smart meters. Can any users advise how long it took for their instalation to interface with HQ? My Octopus phone app account has been updated with the new meters but not displaying data yet. Their pamphlet suggests it can take up to 2 weeks? :evil: Cheers

My installer is recommending a Project Apex EV charger and reassures me it's compatible with Octopus. Does anyone have experience with these chargers and using them with Intelligent Octopus Go? Am I better asking for a Myenergi Zappi? Many thanks

Yes. I have the Octopus Home Mini + the Octopus HA plugin. HA fetches data from Octopus once a minute [but - to keep it relevant to this thread - not gas readings as the gas meter is battery powered].

There can be little doubt.... The generators obviously do charge a negative amount, when there is surplus, how else would Octopus be able to pay customers to actually use power? Octopus, as a company, do not have any surplus.

If Bulb is your supplier, then I'm guessing you'll be moving to Octopus? If so, Octopus lend out thermal cameras to their customers on request.

If the actual gas meter is showing no signs of life, she needs to urgently contact Octopus to have them sort it out. If the IHD3 also not showing any gas consumption, then the gas meter is failing to relay its readings to the electric meter, therefore it will not be passing them on to Octopus...

Scratch that. I just went through the process of adding the Octopus plugin to HA and I am seeing my gas and electricity usage!
