Have tried the f8 after intel screen just goes to windows at the moment sons just put a different operating system on it and same thing happens sticks on opening screen ,I don’t have a recovery cd he’s gonna try putting windows 10 back on off a usb .

No f8 does nothing when I turn in get intel screen bottom right corner it’s got f2 think f7 and f10 if I ignore this and don’t press anything it goes to windows logo and circle I pressed f8 from switching on and just did above

When I turn on the only thing I can get into is F2 bios and f10 boot options I’m told it’s windows 10 and not a clue hardware

Can anyone help the computer when I switch on gets the windows logo and the circle ,then after about half hour screen goes black and circle after another half hr get a warning saying windows couldn’t be installed unexpected error anyone any ideas thanks

Right look at a 168 now but has no keypad which keypad will be compatible with this thanks

Hi looking for a new panel and keypad what I can install myself I had an optima plus 2 for 24years (no problems what so ever) Up graded to galaxy 2-12 and 2-20 (both second hand ) had nothing but trouble So I’m looking to buy a new panel and key pad something long lasting thanks

On the rf pcb the jumper is on both pins which I think is 5 and on panel it 1.10

Would the rotary dial be the one in the keypad ? The only thing that’s changed is the main panel .

Ive uninstalled that and I’ve tried to install a rf portal to my g2 20 with no joy I’ve connected to a and b and power same as the old alarm but panel doesn’t seem to read it? When I leave engineer I thought it would fine new modules , I’m still trying with no joy

Right think the problem was power supply with everything disconnected then power up first no power Connect battery it comes to life Remove power fuse Keypad alerts power gone However remove battery all goes dead

Ye said batt missing but there was one in if was going flat and needed replacement I thought the system would let you know and when I removed the battery the key pad was powering back up as though all power was removed and lost time/etc .all codes stayed the same .

No humming today so think something must have come loose .

Thanks cos never heard it before today panel over top front door so when I came down heard it straight away .

The panel is galaxy 2-12 I’ve just taken lid off panel and removed battery Put lid back still buzzing Reconnect batt Taking off lid can’t hear it but putting back on can (when I put ear on panel ) I’ve also just powered up my old panel which is a galaxy (this one does same when I put ear to panel )
