Too late to dead head hydrangeas?

Sorry to be thick but can you highlight where exactly to cut on these images. (First one is slightly less dead flower) Also is it just the main stem or the branches? Thanks again.

Loose metal bracket in LG washer

Thanks. We always seem to end up with an appliance with a part which is unusual or difficult to access/remove. The machine is only just over two years old. Why would the same manufacturer design some (vast majority, according to YouTube) with plastic/easy to remove and then these ones requiring...

Loose metal bracket in LG washer

Hi again Quick update. Have reached out to LG, and they’re going to see if we’re covered by the “extended five year warranty”. Knowing our luck, we won’t be. All other things being equal, they advised that only a qualified engineer can remove the drum lifter. I’d take that with a pinch of...

Loose metal bracket in LG washer

I can’t shift it. Tried pulling back to front of washer, lifting, left to right. I think the only way it will go is if I snap it upwards and backwards from the loose end. Not sure that’s a good idea.

Loose metal bracket in LG washer

Hi All We’ve got a two year old LG washing machine. Noticed today that one of the small metal plates sitting on the drum has become dislodged. (Photos) I’ve tried resetting it but no cigar. Also doesn’t help as it’s still attached at the other end. Is there a quick fix for this issue? Thanks

    Dishwasher tripping power switch

It’s odd. I thought I’d solved it. Tightened so that none of the external thread on the isolator was visible. Connected water and it was shooting out. Guess it pushed the washer out of kilter? Normally, there is some of the thread visible when tightened fully. Is that what you’d expect? All I...

    Dishwasher tripping power switch

Another picture. Looks fine to me. Have noticed that the old washer sits more snugly in the hose. Ie the lugs secure under the ridges on the hose etc. The new one just falls out easily. Thanks

    Dishwasher tripping power switch

Hi T Yes clean and flat. Trying to tighten sufficiently without over tightening. The problem is you’ve got to do some jiggery pokery to connect due to angle of isolator/supply. Thanks again

    Dishwasher tripping power switch

Hi again Bought these 3/4 hose washers as replacements. Fitted but leak still present. The only difference appears to the lugs and on the old washer, thickness and bigger filter. Diameter is the same. There’s no washer in the isolator so has to be this one causing the problem. Have included new...

    Dishwasher tripping power switch

Update: it was indeed the fuse in the dw plug. I can’t recall tge last time I had a fuse go in a plug, must be 20 years plus. Now onto replacing washer. Many thanks.
