Hi All

We’ve got a two year old LG washing machine. Noticed today that one of the small metal plates sitting on the drum has become dislodged. (Photos) I’ve tried resetting it but no cigar. Also doesn’t help as it’s still attached at the other end.

Is there a quick fix for this issue?

Thanks

Those are replaceable items. They either push in or slide in. Normally made of plastic so have a look at the back as you will probably find the plastic tab has broken. Buy replacements and fit.
Look for part number on them

Thanks. The problem is I can’t seem to manoeuvre it off from the end attached. Tried up and down and left and right to no avail

No experience of these machines but from what I read the paddles are not replaceable individually. You need to replace the drum. A work around seems to be just snap off the existing fixing and remove the paddle which apparently makes little difference. to the operation of the machine Hopefully the fixing will pass through the pump and out the waste or be caught in a filter if it has one. Although on a 2 year old machine I think I would be complaining to supplier and manufacturer. Also use make and model number to see if there has been a recall.
