Hi, Going to install new lyric t6 and I know this is pretty simple but just need confirmation From the picture - TT - two wires from wired room theromstat - Live + neutral from the fuse spur? - Another live and neatral, link from second L to A, and B to boiler ( Live, neutral, B to boiler?)...

Thanks for the replies, Ive always wanted to get a wired one. Its a two story out house, a joiner seems to think that if I drill a hole from the outside its going to hit the floor bored in the middle, but I always thought there would be a air gap?

Unfortunately it was considered but due to the wiring of it, I have come to a dead end and cannot unless I take a whole brick out or most in order too feed the wire for the alarm box

Thanks, there on the same wall there is good going to be two double sockets, satellite faceplate, so Im guessing this may be an issue, I rather not make holes in the way if its not going to work as good Nope none other

Thanks very much, makes sense now, Another questions I was talking to my brother who said if I did extend it (to where I want) which would be beside tv/sky etc that the extension might cause some interference with router . Is this the case? As if it is, I will leave it where it is now

Read through various threads and youtube videos but my master socket looks different? Picture attached, how can I extend this? Can I add another two wires into A + B (same slot?) then the new box would be two wires also? But what if thats numbered? Box -NTE5

According to the reviews you have the option of the transformer or battery, I will go with the transformer and then into mains? But how does this all wire up?

I am going to buy both the items below but just wondering how it gets wired up? Im assuming I need to tap it into the mains ?

Whats the most reliable alarm to date? Preferably hardwired, im seeing alot of new ones that have the led flashing all the time so people know its active I guess? Only need 2 Pir sensors, door contacts not really needed Any help appreciated

I agree with you fully on this but I cannot actually locate a second one, but if there was one it would be (im guessing ) working fine as the hot water is still ok but not as hot as it used to get. When the emorsions on the water is hot like it used to which maybe suggests air in the coil...

Hi Ive had a look at theres two 22mm pipes (one with automatic air vent) and a 15mm gas pipe HWC has 4 pipes (2 22mms, 2 15mms) and a theromstat that seems to be going to the plug for emirson tank

Would satellite cable be run from the master socket I guess? Will also have a look at cctv aswell

Thanks for the response, It was just a thought really but to be honest its not something I really need, I just thought it would be good to do now while I am getting the full house done incase it does ever need it.. Alarm is definitely to do though, which make would you say is good?
