    Or treat the cladding with a suitable fire retardant coating, though they need regular updating and BC have a tendency to resist such things, for obvious reasons. Or use Marley weatherboard cladding instead of timber. Your 'architect' should have thought of this already.

    You can use Jablite Fillmaster of a suitable density if all you want is to fill a void, though it does act as insulation, assuming you can buy it in small quantities.

    Alternatively you can find a suitably long bolt and screw it into the threaded part of the plug, then knock it with a hammer until the anchor has been extended, then pull it out the wall, effectively reversing the process by which it was fitted in the first place.
