LVT Prep - Ply Over Hardboard?

Hard to tell from that photo - but that looks like chipboard to me ? Anyway, if you are ' plying ', all you need are Ringshank nails. No need for anything over the tops or joins.

    Tile to worktop join

As above, you need a bigger bead, and a shaped tool ! When shaping your profile, with those bevelled ' metro' type tiles you have to take care to make sure you get more of it on the tile than than the worktop. And it's not ' difference between kitchen sealant and bathroom sealant' you need to...

I agree with @accelerator - the post is now in the wrong place, and needs to be put in the right place. You know it needs re-set.

What type of base for timber shed?

I’d go for the ‘ Alaska Building Off Grid’ standard approach - make 12” dia cardboard tubes, bury a couple of feet into the ground, then fill with concrete. That lets you get all the levels done at the same time as well!

    Not enough silicone?

Get a brand new Stanley blade and carefully take every bit of that ( and the old) silicone off. Pop into screw fix and get a 646fn, and a 656ru. Make sure you cut enough off the end of the nozzle ( at 45 degrees) before you re-apply.
