    Hi Water down by 10% is fine for most trade paint (Dulux Trade). Especially in warm weather it makes if flow easier.

    It will look crap as its only mean to be a backing substrate. You can paint it but It is very absorbent and will suck. I would give it a lick of contract matt watered down 50/50 then a few coats at 70/30 then finish with a 90/10 coat.
