    I hope someone can advise. I knocked the compression valve on a cold water pipe causing it to leak slowly around one of the nuts. I've replaced the whole valve but it now leaks from both nuts (so to speak) :roll: They are both as tightly screwed as I can get them without shearing...

    It has that symbol. so am i ok to simply fold back and tape off the earth wire? John Lewis also sold me a lava lamp for the kids that was basically a sealed bottle with the lava in that was balanced in an inverted bowl light fitting. That went straight back.

    Can't post a picture but yes, its a metal bit with a hook to attach to ceiling. So I need to install an earthed ceiling rose as per picture and then feed off that to the pendant. Thanks for your help.
