Whats the best thing to use for sealing the exposed ends after cutting down worktop and the 18mm end and back panels to stop moisture getting them? Is it still neccessary although I will stick edging strips on after cutting? :)

When cutting mitres in worktops, do you judge the cutting depth each pass or use the depth stopper and hexbolts. I was going to lower the cutter each pass by eye really as I was assuming the hexbolts and depth adjuster was for actual plunge routing on other work. :)

Is it ok to lay carpet tiles straight onto a concrete floor or should there be some sort of covering put down first for protection or dust collection etc? :?
