Biasi Diverter Pin not coming out enough

I know, I wish I had just changed that. That came to mind later unfortunately.

Biasi Diverter Pin not coming out enough

Update to this. Removed the pump. However it was not as straightforward as the manual makes out. They tell you to remove the fork holding the outlet pipe going to the main exchanger and simply pull the pipe up and away. Except there is no give in pushing the pipe up. You have to use a lot of...

Biasi Diverter Pin not coming out enough

I understand how the diaphragm works I simply referred to it in that way because it is part of the body of the diverter. That is all. :-)

Biasi Diverter Pin not coming out enough

Hello All, Biasi Combi 24C. When turning tap on the pin from the diverter valve pushes out but not enough to activate the microswitch. The system is clean, no crud. Have changed the diaphragm. The pin otherwise is smooth and not restricted when pressing by hand. Have even changed the...

    MK RCBO tripping

Thanks all. Just to clarify, yes I'm only turning switches off, not isolating them completely. I will check one by one. BTW I am competent in electrical safety but if it is anything to do with the consumer unit I will leave it to a qualified electrician.

    MK RCBO tripping

Hi Everyone, I'm helping out an elderly relative where this RCBO keeps tripping. It's a MK 7932s Regardless of whether all items it supplies are on or off it will either stay on for about 5 mins and then trip...or just trip immediately. So I'm assuming it's a fault with the RCBO itself? I've...

Ideal Isar - water leaking, likely condensate.

Hi All, Ideal Isar. Water leaking but boiler pressure fine. Water pooling in chassis tray below main HE. When feeling at the back of the burner cover ledge it is also wet. I'm familiar with the traps getting blocked but that is certainly clear and very little water comes through condensate...

Ideal Isar Service & CP12 - what time should be spent?

Thanks all. The boiler has been 'serviced' annually and parts changed through fixed price repairs etc. He didn't clean out the dregs from the sump that can cause the trap to block which I would have thought is crucial. He took about 45 mins. So about right I suppose.

Ideal Isar Service & CP12 - what time should be spent?

Some help needed please. If a GSE comes to service a boiler (Ideal Isar) and provide a CP12 for boiler & gas hob - what kind of timescale are we looking at them spending? Thanks!

    Disappointed with finish

Were the boards completely skimmed or just at the joints? I've only used tapered boards where mud is just used at the joins and feathered off. No need if it's completely skimmed. You'll rarely find joists that are level but most won't make a difference to the eye as over the distance you lose...

    Cctv recommendation

I would go for an IP camera system with POE. That will make installation a lot cleaner as you only need to run one Cat5 cable to each camera which covers data and power. Avoid cheapo brand deals. They look good on the surface and may even get good customer reviews but what matters is clarity of...

Trying to connect Reolink POE to Dahua NVR - No picture!

Thanks, sparkymarka. That's what I'm planning to do but without the separate POE power supply I can't connect to my home network. Ordered it yesterday and see what will happen. So fingers crossed.

Trying to connect Reolink POE to Dahua NVR - No picture!

Hopefully someone here has some experience of working with NVRs and IP cameras I bought a Reolink 410S POE Bullet IP camera. I've connected it to a Dahua NVR2104 NVR. It finds the camera when scanning but after I configure it with user name/password it shows 'green light' status but nothing...

    Epoxy Concrete Repair?

Thanks for the reply. It's not so much making good as packing it out and squaring it up. The existing corner is fairly flat, angled in and intact so I'm concerned it won't give a decent key for new concrete to hold onto

    Epoxy Concrete Repair?

Hi All, Have block and brick house with smooth concrete render. Have replaced windows with UPVC but need to pack the concrete render corners out a bit to make good. Previously bodged with wooden windows placed in. Now I can either grind back the corners completely a few inches and use...

    Dark Grey Masonry Paint?

I'd always mix way more than I need. Decided to go a merchant to get it done anyway, save time on getting the colour I want. I keep forgetting about the colour match services! Thanks all.

    Dark Grey Masonry Paint?

Hello Everyone, Looking for dark grey masonry paint but it seems it's not easy to find. Found one by Sandtex called 'Evening Shadow'but according to the reviews it looks purple. Anyone got any recommendations? Dark grey to almost black. Anywhere in that category. Failing that I assume mixing...

Hot water. Constantly on or on a timer?

What are your electric bills like? They should significantly fall if you place it on a timer. You're not heating from zero with a timer, the cylinder is lagged to keep it warm for a good deal of time.
