    I thought the fuse protected the flex, not the T&E? Wouldn't I need FCUs to make sure the 2.5mm doesn't overload and the 32 MCB not trip? (Talking to meet regs, I wouldn't be plugging anything other than the two ovens in.)

    It will be protected by the plug fuses - 2 x 13A = 26A - just right for 2.5mm². No point having a lollipop nor two cables in parallel.

    That’s what is colloquially known as a “lollipop” circuit. Not recognised as a standard circuit type, but nothing particularly wrong with it. Better than extending the 32amp radial (wired in 4 or 6mm² ?). by adding a single length of 2.5mm² cable. IMO.

    I don't think that would make any difference (and would offer no real benefit over a 6mm² radial), since the 'ring part' of the lollipop would presumably also have to be 6mm², since even Method C 4mm² doesn't have quite enough CCC to be adequately protected by a 40 A OPD - and a bit of that...

    Yes. If it is a lollipop arrangement, the cable at the CU would need to be 4mm2 or bigger, which would be standed.

    A good opportunity. A lollipop circuit is defined as a radial serving a ring. I dislike them. If the the two 2.5mm2 cables in parallel are not loading any appliances on route then it could be considered a radial.
