Strange. I never seen any toilets with pan off at an angle from the floor waste. But I guess this was before the invention of adjustable flexible waste pipes..... Also, my toilet pan lines up with the waste, so the design is redundant here :confused:

Yes I wish you were local! I'm all in favour of repurposing old stuff. A shower screen hinge and panel is a good bit of engineering that could definitely be reused as a lid to something! I'll keep looking on ebay and gumtree!

I been looking for cheap second hand shower screens that I could cut down - on ebay but I think most people are binning old shower screens these days! Nothing cheap to be found. :(

Ideally need to cut something down to size, or something similar size to the brick upstand of 900mm deep x 1400mm.
