    MCB Tripping on Oven

Hi We have a range oven 6kw connected with 6mm T&E on a 32A MCB. The oven was installed 4 years ago and had worked fine. We had it cleaned about two weeks ago. Yesterday whilst using both ovens and the grill the MCB tripped. Tried to reset but wouldn’t. Turned oven off and it reset. Then...

    Advice on which boiler

@Mottie The quote included the replacement of 4 radiators aswell. I’m assuming the price for the radiators would be the same on each quote He’s not recommending either to be honest

    Advice on which boiler

Hello I am having a new combination boiler fitted and have been given a price on two boilers. The 1st one is a Worcester Life 30kw boiler and the 2nd is a Baxi 830. I live in a typical semi with 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom with electric shower upstairs and a downstairs which contains 4 radiators and...

    Help! No Heating

Hello I have a Worcester Combi 24cdi quite an old boiler and has been on its last legs for a while now. We returned home yesterday to find the boiler had tripped the electrics due to a leak from the AAV. I think it had shorted something on the board maybe. Anyway it now , when heating is called...

    Worcester cd24i dropping pressure

Thanks Terryplumb. I think the pipe on the pressure relief valve comes out of the soffits over the side extension so very awkward to reach. Don’t think it has a condensate pipe it’s that old! I thought about the pipe work under the ground floor but really don’t want to disturb any flooring on...

    Worcester cd24i dropping pressure

I have a Worcester 24cdi that is very old and is constantly losing pressure. I just need to get through this winter with it and then get a new one. For a while now it loses pressure whether it’s running or not, don’t think I have any leaky pipe work. It constantly needs topping up every day but...

    Cold Radiator

Update: Sorry for the late reply. Eventually found a leak under the floor by the radiator. Fixed it and the rad gets hot now. Got an issue with the boiler now but will create a different post

    Cold Radiator

I’m pretty competent. Will do as you say. Would I check for flow on pipes by taking rad off and cracking the valves with the boiler running to see if there’s a flow. Are the valves a problem? Both being lock shields?

    Cold Radiator

Not long moved into my house and one radiator refuses to get hot. It’s cold at the bottom and Luke warm at the top. One of the pipes flowing into it is red hot but the pipe on the other side is cold. Both radiator valves look like lock shield valves so could that be the issue or is there a...

They do have small pimples on them which have worn which swayed me away from Richmond. They just don’t look grey enough to be Marshalls

    Help with Paving

Does anybody know what flags these are? I thought they were a basic Marshall’s concrete 50mm flag but they look a lot lighter in colour than the typical concrete light grey ones. I ask because I wanted to use the Marshall’s flags on my driveway but when I’ve seen them at my local landscapers...
