Hello I am constantly finding myself having to replace this white wire in my ceiling lamps. I replace it, it works for few weeks then stops. When examining the wire it seems burnt down from the heat, I replace it and again it repeats itself. Any idea what am I doing wrong? Perhaps I need to...

Hello Please excuse my very novice description of the problem but my electric knowledge pretty much ends beyond switching a light bulb. The spot light in the picture has stopped working. Obviously tried replacing the light itself before anything else but it is still not working. Other lights...

Hello Appreciate that it is hard to tell based on an image but worth a try. I had someone coming round to replace two skirting boards in the shower room, however he painted them white which doesn't match the colour of the others now. I'm posting two images - One of an existing skirting board...

Not sure I understand. If I buy the unit I suggested above will it or will it not fit what I have based on the images wiring wise and assuming I'm ok with the voltage and the size?

This is as far Aa's I can follow it as the rest is hiding under the deck and I have no idea where it goes to. It seems to have some sort of box connected to it (see image). Does that help to decide which one to buy?

Pardon my ignorance but how can I tell? As for the decking hole it has inner and outer cut, the inner cut is 9cm.
