problem solved, e are going to turn it 90 degrees, and put it onto the wall of the airing cupboard, so all the waste pipes will be in the cupboard. Thanks guys! :D

ok, the problem is i have already got the loo and cistern, can i get a concealed cistern to go with the loo i have already?

its chipboard, and ive taken the board up, but there are loads of pipes, and a beam there, so i cant just spin it back like i was originally going to do?

The stupid sort? Ok, seriously, its one that the cistern rests on the bk of the pan, if that makes sense. But the waste is about 12-15 inches form the wall, so but the time i have got the pipes into the back of the loo its miles away from wall when the cistern goes on?

yes, it does, the problem is the sort of toilet i have would mean about a 10 inch gap between the cistern and the wall?

taken the old loo off, tried to put the new one on, and the main waste is abotu 15inches from the wall. Is this normal? And whats the easiest way to move it? Or do we just have to work with it being there?

as it happens, my husband was up to his elbows under the sink, :shock: and told me the bits we had to do the loo were wrong, but didnt know what bits we needed! I have sent him to the shop to get them to help him, as it was them that sold us the wrong bits! Thanks guys, helpful as ever :roll:

hmm....i knew that didn't sound right, but he was adamant!! Ill try to explain what i mean.... The cistern (reliably informed thats what its called, the bit with the flush?) Is really close...im recalling 'close coupled' as a term used but no idea where i got that from :oops: ? the old loo...
