    Plumbing vent leaking through roof

I have a plumbing vent pipe going up and through the roof in the loft. I've noticed its been leaking through the roof and dripping down into the loft. I'm assuming it has/had a rubber boot type thing on the outside that prevented this and has stopped working. https://imgur.com/72JHCYg From...

Honeywell R6660D to Hive Receiver - not firing up boiler

OK, got this sorted now. Suspect the cover of the hive wasnt "seated" correctly on the backing plate - causing one of the pins not to connect properly (almost certainly pin 3). Anyway, thanks for the help on this one all!

Honeywell R6660D to Hive Receiver - not firing up boiler

It’s not, per my first post that’s how I’ve got it wired up.

Honeywell R6660D to Hive Receiver - not firing up boiler

Just decommissioned my old Honeywell system with a R6660D receiver that was connected up to the boiler (working perfectly). Wired it my new Hive receiver, hooked it all up to the thermostat and hub but it's not firing up the central heating on the boiler. The green light is coming on on the...

    Struggling to remove window beading

So the bit of rubber on the inside needs to be prized out, then remove the inside beading to get at the window?

    Struggling to remove window beading

Need to replace a number of "blown" double glazed sealed units. Have managed to remove 3 in the conservatory with no problem by using a putty knife to remove the beadings. One in the kitchen appears a slightly different design and I cant remove the beading - obviously dont want to damage the...

What type of connector block is this?

Cheers, it's not a stock VW part. Believe it's a stand from an old Land Rover. Many thanks for your help!

What type of connector block is this?

Cheers, 6mm female bullet connector then yes?

What type of connector block is this?

Initially thought it would need a male bullet but I bought the smallest one available (red 4mm) and it was way too big for the hole at the top. Maybe it needs a female connector? Each one is about 6mm wide. It's on an indicator stalk of an old VW camper

What type of connector does this block need?

Indeed, it's a 12v block from an indicator stalk from a 1964 camper van. Definitively nothing that'd kill me if wired up wrong :) Cheers, will repost on the forum you linked

Aritech House Alarm Wont Turn Off

Having a bit of a nightmare with my house alarm. Its an Aritech CS45003 alarm with a CD34 keypad unit. I recently had a "Low Battery" warning on the keypad unit so I took the cover off the alarm unit and changed the battery for a new one. As soon as I connect up the new battery and...
