Ok Ok, its bash the builder day! Actually the pipes are rerouted, compression fittings in place, hoses fitted to the new tank, and new tank installed. A pro can rip it out when the full conversion happens but its fine for now. Thanks for reading.

Thanks. There are two stretches of 22mm copper pipe. If the pipes are shut off with the isolator valve and disconnected from the tank, they still then have water in. A pipe bender would still bend the pipe. For what reason would they not bend just because they water in? Thx.
