Spring put back in Black plastic hole , And scarifier would not run, looking closer the fine spring is sleeved in the thicker spring this must have been done at time of manufacturer and the fine spring never attached. Removed it from black plastic swivel link and scarifier now will not run...

Took chain guard off, cleaned grass and mud etc decreased area. Drive belt looks OK adjusted chain cable, with engine running when I lift mower the drive chain slowly moves without drive engaged is this normal or does cable need adjusting ? Now runs OK,

Would this also account for The cut height leaver adjuster will not move from the mid cut height ?

I have read Peace Lilly can attract bugs that kills them, we had a lovely one that died put this down to bugs/flies. can't help with what to kill them with.

I see you have two 90deg corners these are possible blockage corners. any chance you can put in to inspection hatch cover at each corner for roding/flushing ? Just my thoughts others may have better solution.
