Stone guard/chip under mower steel tray.

Looking for recommendations make and brush or aerosol spray can.

What have you used ?

I've tried all sorts of products but always revert to good old Hammerite - the thicker the better because even grass seems to be abrasive over time.
Spray or brush - just don't expect a showroom finish!
Smoothrite may be better than the hammer finish, but at least it dries nice and hard....fairly quickly too.
Hammerite actually do a stonechip too if you want to use that.

Waxoyl at the start and end of the year. Pressure wash the underside of the mower first.

I'd agree with @Diver Fred -- I do this to my rotary mower.

All my other outdoor tools including my cylinder mower are cleaned and doused in a coating of oil.
