mountfield vibrating like mad

Hello,

i have got a mountfield self propelled lawn mower with roller and the other day i pushed the mower under a hedge and hit a huge stone. since then the mower vibtrates like mad and i end up with numb hands after cutting the lawn. the mower is a few years old and just wondering if anybody might have an idea what could be wrong as its cutting fine.

the other thing is that the engine hunts, what might cause this ?

just wondering if its worth getting fixed or getting a new one.

any help or advice appreciated

If your lucky, you've damaged the blade, make sure it is completely symmetrical.

If you unlucky, you've bent the drive shaft - mucho wonga to repair, probably cheaper to buy a new engine.

What model is it and whereabouts are you? If it is knackered I could be interested.

i have replaced the blade so it sounds like the driveshaft is bent then !!

near watford area. i think its some like a 463 ??? but would have to check.
