Installing blind in a pvc window with pvc roof

We dont get on at all. They are the type who hate it when people stand up to them. Daughter had a party one week night. They'd been moved in about 3 months. I asked this old lady who lives next door if she was ok. She said they were wonderful and let her know. I said they could have let us know...

Installing blind in a pvc window with pvc roof

Like anything I suppose you get what you pay for. Il upload some pics of the window and see what you think. It's a very awkward place to put a blind. Also a picture of the offending light and its brightness. Shouldn't be allowed to have a light that shines directly onto a neighbours house. The...

Installing blind in a pvc window with pvc roof

Them perfect fit blinds arent cheap tho! All because I dont want to screw into the pvc! I'm wondering if it would be cheaper to buy a blind and attach it via a velcro strip but it's what mess the velcro would potentially leave behind if its ever ripped off

Installing blind in a pvc window with pvc roof

Our kitchen has a bay window which I'd brick at the bottom. Then pvc window as the sides and a pvc roof. Anyway we want to install a blind in the window due to neighbours putting up a way too bright led light which is on the side of the house and shines straight into the kitchen. Also for...

Yellow stains under ornaments on windowsills

Is their a reason why my windowsills are stained yellow where ornaments are? They got repainted twelve months ago with water based undercoat and dulux water based gloss. Everything was sanded before hand. The rest of the windowsill is still sparkling white. Just under things that arent moved...

Mould under sink and rusty gas meter

The outside tap no longer leaks. It's just say I'm finding paintbrushes the water starts splashing and gets on the wall. I will tie kitchen roll round but I have ran water and checked all the waste. The only thing I can think of is water going all over the sink when kids are making drinks etc...

Mould under sink and rusty gas meter

Two questions. Is this mold anything to majorly worry about. It could have been there many years without us even knowing. Also the gas meter is getting rusty. Their is no leak on the sink. It is cold under here which I'm guessing its condensation on the pipes causing the mold. Also there is an...

    Drainage

I'm just wondering if this is right. My toilet alone is in an iron cast drain pipe at the back of the house. Everything else. The bath, sink, kitchen sink, roof guttering all drain into a grid at the back corner of the house. Will this all drain into a sewer or should that drain at the back only...

    Using untreated wood outside

I could but the other shop has everything I need and I can't warrant paying for delivery for 4 lengths of treated 4x2! The other shop doesn't seem to be doing a preorder either. I'm guessing that's only for the big customers/businesses

    Using untreated wood outside

There are 2 local timber merchants near me. One is out of stock with the current pandemic. The other has stock but its untreated. I have a framework at the back of the garden holding some gates up. The square perimeter and the posts are all treated. However the pieces going across every 500 are...

New French doors handle stiff to open and shut

Your 100% right it is warranty work. The kids can't open the door. When you close it and lift it up to lock it can be stiff but isn't as bad. To open the door it takes a bit of strength. The kids aren't strong enough which is obviously no good so I have emailed the company. If I don't hear...
