Interesting stuff! Yes, system is currently drained.... Ripped everything out, have new unvented tank running on immersion and will fit new boiler and s plan later in the year, connecting up to flow and return here.....

Hi all, here's, a photo of my old Y plan pipe work after I've removed the cylinder.... Do I have the flow and return marked correctly? As in, is the pipe underneath the pump the flow? Thanks!

Just changed over from old gravity fed system to unvented tank... Hot water running fairly orange...theres only about 10 metres of old 15mm copper left between tank and tap, rtge rest is either new copper or plastic.... Could the increased preassure in that short run be blasting residue off pipe?

I've an Aquasystem ARB24 expansion vessel that appears to have a split bladder.... I see you can get new bladders for these... Has anyone replaced an expansion vessel bladder? Easy enough?

I didn't press pin on valve - just coinected bike pump and pumped water out. I then assumed I'd be able to repressurise it.... But it doesn't hold any pressure at all.

Couple of buckets full came out, but then it doesn't seem to hold any pressure.... Knackered?

If I want to drain the water out of an expansion tank do I hold down the valve on top to let air in? I've got a preassure guage so can recharge the tank I guess? Thanks!
