Anyway it has been quite difficult to fit as it the system of...

Recommended pump to drain HW cylinder in attic?

Amazing!! A panel of high skilled & experienced guys tell you what to do & you question their judgement??!! Sort of defeats the purpose of posing a question on a forum like this, or is it just me? Well I certainly did not want to give the impression of questioning anyone's judgement. As it...

    Painting requirements re decorative moulding.

I need to paint this replacement piece of scotia moulding for a bathroom. Does it require a primer coat, undercoat or both? I suspect that just using a coat of eggshell is not sufficient. Thanks for any advice.

Recommended pump to drain HW cylinder in attic?

That's not so easy as where the cylinder is located is the lowest point of the attic. Pumping would be the best option here.

Recommended pump to drain HW cylinder in attic?

I need to replace a HW cylinder in an attic where there is no drainpipe outlet. In order to remove the existing cylinder I need to drain the contents. Could anyone recommend a decent wet & dry vax ‘type’ pump that would be suitable for this task, please?

What type of bulb-holder is this, please?

Anyone able to identify what size bulb-holder that requires replacement? The alabaster lamp of which it is a part originally came from Spain a two or three decades ago. Thanks in advance for any help offered. :)

F'k me gently wiv the blunt end of a rag man's bugel !

Any reason for posting a link is more than 18 months old, Pip? Notwithstanding, Hanningfield, is just another venal, snout-in-the-trough opportunist who should have been entirely stripped of his peerage prior to being banged-up. It would appear he is standing outside his white 'austerity'...

Anybody able to put a manufacturer to this flush-valve, please? The accompanying fill-valve is a Fluidmaster but despite a brief web-browse I cannot see one quite like this. Thanks for any help.
