it is but vaillant didn’t know what I was trying to achieve and therefore stated their kit was not compatible hence me trying to find a solution to positively isolate their kit when the occupancy sensor kicks in.

Either source will trigger feed to pump but to isolate voltage to the other (I’m thinking of protecting the expensive vaillant electronics)

I think I might have an spdt contactor that would fulfil what you’re describing but am head scratching at the wiring which suggests only one supply voltage across a1 and a2?

Sealed system. Idea is to release pressure and drain a small amount off and open valve and use to fill with inhibitor (highest point in the system). Reason is I will be making many changes to the system and inevitably draining and refilling the system many times over.

Is the pump new hence the gate valve having stuck when you closed it to install the pump? It might be worth changing those valves out for something like a butterfly valve as they don’t tend to cause issues when you need to use them in the future. if it were mine I’d want to check for the...

Is it better to wire the secondary pump in to the boiler and control it via the sensohome system (if this is even possible?) or just to run it to a timer separate to the boiler? boiler is a vaillant ecotec plus 630 thanks

Is it possible to install a secondary return on the 200 litre model of the unistor? The instructions only make reference to the 250 and 300 litre models but the connections are identical across the range from what I can gather.
