    dont buy the tap kit if its the one with plastic hose etc.drill will be fine better with a pilot hole first.dont drill from inside out you will make a mess of your bricks

    use a vax try sucking water out pipe if no joy, get a mate to put vax on open tap\outlet while you solder fitting always works

    3500 seems steep i would expect about a grand less although all depends location etc.worcester,baxi,valiant are all ok boilers we all have our prefrences.The only difference concerning condensing and non condensing that you need worry about is a extra pipe that needs to go to a drain.5 years...

    hi all had a conny built on own house with floor 35mm lower than room that i was joining it to so it would enable underfloor heating for reasons wont go in to changed mind (doh).not really keen on mess of concrete ,hardit etc to bring up to level.base level and dry would ply or chip board be ok...

    gas safe is the new corgi in all uk.not too much too worry about the pipes i dont think although annoying,just bad install not necessary heating pipes could be hot/cold.the banging will probably be from pipes not clipped,lagged or seperated properly.it can be solved if you can find the offending...

    No heating upstairs - help

    It could be loads of things air in rads,rad valves closed down ,sludge,pump,etc etc.might be worth shutting all down stairs/hot rads and then seeing if others then get hot if so balancing may be at fault.Dont rush into changing pipe work just yet

    hi i have fitted shower pump salamander esp75,tanks in roof ,cyclinder on floor near pump .no gas boiler so heating up cylinder with 2 imersion heaters.worked fine but cutting out on temp to the pump(doesnt like 65 degrees)turned the heaters right down but think will still be too hot.salamander...
