Yeah... for what I want I was kinda thinking it could be more trouble than it's worth... a simple separate pir can do what I need or possibly some more hive kit. I'm still scratching my head over the push notifications though mate... no idea why they have stopped? I've checked all the triggers etc

Hi All! So does anyone have experience of using the Flex for home automation? I'd like to have a couple of lighting circuits activated by the alarm's PIRs. I understand I need a trigger board but before I jump in I'd like some idea of peoples experience with it and if it's worth doing...

No worries mate... can you confirm my understanding is correct: The L/S circuit is based on 16 ohm? 1 x 16 ohm L/S gives 16 ohm, so should work with volume control as is? 2 x 16 ohm L/S in parallel gives 8 ohm? 2 x 16 ohm L/S in parallel would require resistors to give a resistance of 32 ohm on...

Quick one folks... Galaxy flex 50... codes seem to need to be 5 digits long... can I change this to 4?

Any more ideas on this folks? Still not able to alter the volume. Current config... 1 16ohm speaker no resistor.

So I've moved a keypad today and in trying to exit engineer mode I now have a tamper +0004 Aux error? The tamper on the keypad (touchcenter) I've moved isn't the culprit!?

I have 16ohm speakers, 2 of them wired in parallel.

Just tried that... Menu 51.81 accesses 'output option', 82 access OP3 and gives a speaker volume option but changing the number seems to do nothing in my case?

I take it that is true of all the the RIO outputs then... if that's the case what are they for? Or is it simply intended for them to be used with powered devices?

Bit of help if poss folks... Galaxy Flex 50+ panel... I've wired a 2 loud speaker to the output 3 in a ROI but it does not beep with the other... Am I missing a setting somewhere? Also, can the volume of the loud speakers be adjusted in any way? Thanks

I think my software version is v1.00 Or do you mean on the panel?
