Hive thermostat keeps changing current time by 10 minutes

Hello, I have a Hive thermostat but it keeps changing the current time by 10 minutes. I change the time setting and save it with the current time, which works. Later in the day I go back, and the clock has gone back by exactly 10 minutes- every single time I do this. What's going on?

Does dot and dabbing plasterboard onto brick need screws too?

Hello. I have used dot and dab to put some plasterboard onto a brick wall so I can tile it. Is it possible to tile onto the board without screwing the board into the wall? Does dot and dab hold some decent weight? I'm only putting subway tiles on

Please can someone tell me what this screw thing is called (drawing attached)

I have had to draw this because I dont know the name of it to google it. It's basically a flat ended screw, but it screws into a tidy cap end. The screw can be tightened into the cap end, or the cap end can be tightened into the screw as it also has a screwable head I'm just looking for...

Internal wall crumbling, pipe behind wall has turned green but is not wet. Ideas?

The top corner of my kitchen wall started to crumble a bit. I used a paper scraper to remove it. There is a radiator/water pipe behind this section of wall. The pipes have turned green but are not wet. In fact, nothing there appears to be wet, but that corner of wall is almost dust now. I have...

How to fill gaps in parquet flooring

I have put a small amount of parquet flooring down for the first time. It looks really nice, but annoyingly has a few small gaps around where the border and other pieces meet. What is the best way to fill these gaps so it is not noticable? I am reading that mixing sawdust with PVA is a big...

Please identify the pipe coming up from my hallway flooring. Image included.

I've tried cleaning it up a bit more. It looks like the thing on top of the pipe has been bashed in to block/plug it. I could be wrong though. You can see on one of the pics that the pipe coming out of the floor is thinner than the thing in the top.

Please identify the pipe coming up from my hallway flooring. Image included.

The wire has now fallen off. But somebody had already cut it off before I was doing anything with it. It is something plaster stuck in the top from when I had this space plastered. It's just a hole that only goes down so far

Please identify the pipe coming up from my hallway flooring. Image included.

Hello. Please can someone identify what this pipe is in my hallway? I am wanting to put wood flooring down today, so wondered if it was an old gas pipe that I cut just saw off? Thanks in advance.

Is this an old gas tap? Can I cut it off?

My gas supply actually enters the house in another room where my gas meter is. I am assuming this is an old pipe that does nothing. My house is a few hundred years old, so this sounds right, yes? Are we all saying it is gas then?

Is this an old gas tap? Can I cut it off?

I am hoping to put wood flooring in my hallway, but there is currently an obstacle in the way. It looks like a gas tap and has a little fixed key that can be turned. Turning the key seems to do nothing, but I'm not sure what it actually is. Gas pipe? It is currently covered in plaster after...

How do I get this radiator thing off (pic included)

I removed some radiators in my house and would like to sell them. There is still part of the old valve attached though which I would like to remove. On the image you can see part of the valve that spins on the spot when spun. However, that's not the issue. Inside the radiator this piece is...

Multifuel burner - Is there a legal requirement for space around it?

Combustibles. However, I wouldn't class the bricks at the back as combustible. Does this mean I can put it closer?
