Hi Its an Alpha E-Tec 33NX. Its all setup with the existing hive I had, just wired so its on the one channel. Was just a thought if I ever came across the single channel hive it would be better plus would remove the hot water setting from the app which I cant do. Maybe just my OCD kicking in!

I have noticed whenever I cut it there are a lot of moths. Ive just scarified it so will fork some holes and feed it. The soils quite hard which isnt helping

Okay thanks for that. What feed do you use? I recently used miracle grow thick and green. It certainly thickened it, speeding up the growing process and turned really dark green but when I cut it its still patchy.
