    neighbour flooding my drive.

I think the drive may well have a slight drainage problem however when the neighbour emptys a bath (whats that, probably 150L?) in the one spot it puddles. When it rains it doesnt puddle like that tho. The drive now has a distinct grey patch from the soap scum, which is bloody slippery. I...

    neighbour flooding my drive.

My neighbours (I hope!) bath drain appears blocked and ends up flooding my drive. The water comes down the downpipe and doesnt go down the drain. It floods their small path and runs accross to my drive and puddles on my drive. I end up with a 2 inch deep puddle where I park my cars about 3...

How to remove a larder cold shelf?? (with pic)

I have both an angle grinder and a hammer drill, more tools than I thought I had! Thanks for the advice, sounds like stitch drilling along the edges could be the best idea. See if I can annoy the neighbours this weekend!

How to remove a larder cold shelf?? (with pic)

Any tips for how to remove a larder cold shelf? Lump of concrete, 50mm thick, 500mm deep & 1200mm long ish. Only attached at the ends (500mm), not at the back of the shelf (1200mm) Dont have many heavy duty tools, club hammers about it! A pic tells a thousand words!

    old fuse board

It is old wiring, has the old fashioned ceiling roses and all! Ill get some pics tomorrow as that will be clearer. I believe the previous owner purchased it from the council in 2000. There were no details of an electrical inspection as it isnt a requirement for a sale or HIP.

    old fuse board

Hi, first post here! Just bought a ex local authority place and it has an old fuse board, ie has fuse wire not trips. There is a distinct lack of plug sockets in all rooms, the main bedroom only has one single socket! Would an electrician consider adding sockets (on spurs) or are we needing...
