I'm not a spark but in the instructions for my jacuzzi bath, it clearly states that the lead from the jacuzzi pump should be connected to an rcd via an ip65 junction box if needs be. I should imagine you will get some interesting replies from the guys on this one.

It wasn't the fitting of it I was worried about. It's just that as you say, I'm a diy'er & a lot of the guys on here use this stuff day in, day out, so I will always ask for advice on the best product based on their experience.
