Can anyone identify this tubular latch please?

This is the hole/s in the door.

Can anyone identify this tubular latch please?

I'm looking to replace these with identical ones so I don't have to chisel oblongs where currently I have round ends, as in the original picture, if you see what I mean!

Can anyone identify this tubular latch please?

Thanks for the info. I'm needing to replace several of these because they're knackered! The handles don't spring back up etc and, as you can see on this photo, the bit where the spindle goes through is distorted from 20 years' wear.

Can anyone identify this tubular latch please?

Ah, sorry, OK. I'm just using the terminology I found on Screwfix!

Can anyone identify this tubular latch please?

Should probably haveadded the entire depth is 76mm, and the depth from the middle of the spindle hole to the front of the face plate is 60mm. Never knew 'door furniture' could be so complicated!

Can anyone identify this tubular latch please?

This was manufactured in 1996, and it has no identifiers on it! I want to replace 14 of these but I don't want to have to recess 14 oblong face plates, which is all I can find! The key feature is the oval ends, and the face plate is 72mm long and 22mm wide. Thanks in advance

Fixed glass screen for head end of bath with shower (+ screen) at foot end?

Anyone know where I can buy a simple, fixed panel for the end of my bath so any stray shower spray doesn't go over that end of the bath? Our shower is like this: http://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Misa-Compact-Bath-Front-Panel-White-1500mm/p/148327 but we want another, fixed screen to go across...

    Corner shower leaking.....again

Right now the issue is that 'the problem' is all covered over- as in- we thought it was fixed! It'd be more useful to get a photo once the new skirting board and base-or-shower strip have been removed- again- to gain access to the offending area!

    Corner shower leaking.....again

That's true. Can I ask- what do builders actually use to 'tank' a shower wall?

    Corner shower leaking.....again

Thanks. Fair point about the tilers (though the first was 'a handyman' rather than a tiler!). Due to how wet the bedroom carpet has become (luckily it's going to be replaced, anyway!) I think we are going to have to do something sooner rather than later. There's even a 2" water stain on the...

    Corner shower leaking.....again

Thanks for your reply. The pipes are behind the wall, as you say, but my feeling is that where the leaks are evident is fair way away. The tiled cubicle is L shaped, and the mixer tap comes out of the left hand wall at 'hand height' in the middle of that wall (the shower head connects to that...

    Corner shower leaking.....again

At what point do you stop chucking money at it? It's a 18 year old 'estate' house, and neither my husband or I are DIY'ers, particularly on this scale! We had our corner shower 'quarter circle' glass surround replaced, along with the tray, about 5 years ago. The new tray is plastic.The...

What waterproof material to top an outdoor DIY potting bench- cheaply?

Ah, that's a good idea, too! Had no idea it existed!

What waterproof material to top an outdoor DIY potting bench- cheaply?

Thanks both- yes, I am thinking I'll put a bit of a slope on the top, maybe 1" or so to assist run off. The distressing thing is that my dad, RIP, had several large sheets of copper (he made clocks as a hobby) that would've served well...:)

What waterproof material to top an outdoor DIY potting bench- cheaply?

I am planning on building a 'potting' bench using old pallet wood, but the void beneath needs to be weatherproof because I will be storing an electric lawn-raker under there. I plan on covering the sides with shiplap planks, but as for the top, other than the obvious, a sheet of metal (££), what...

Garden not draining properly - very boggy - how to fix?

Interesting posts- they have helped me recognise there's not much I can do with my clay-pan of a back lawn! It's completely flat, 13m x 10m, with the classic patio along one long edge and 3 garden beds around the other 3 sides, and you can literally make little clay pots from the lumps of clay...

Cheaper option: composite 'stone' paving or stamped concrete for patio?

Does anyone know what the overall price difference might be between getting a patio laid using B&Q style stone lookalike pavers (about £25 m3) versus the same area in stamped concrete i.e. the end result would look pretty similar? The area is flat and currently is laid with grey municipal slab...

    Guesstimate: Conservatory- how much?

Near Salisbury, Wilts. A bit like this, found online, though see my measurements! Looking to build a 3.5 x 2.5m conservatory on the back of a linked terraced house; no planning needed, electrics but no heating, 'Edwardian' style roof, all Pilkington glass, low wall base. Cat flap. One side...

Quickie- can you bleed radiators with a pressurised Megaflo system?

Original, 15 year old radiators. Megaflo put in 4 years ago (I think); and heating (radiators) also on it. Can you air-bleed these radiators or does it destroy the pressure?
