    Dan, thanks for the reply albeit brief, we have had british gas out to service moms boiler...only installed about 12 months and they have given an advisory notice that the boiler is not to current standard because of this pipe, however the installer reckons that because the pipe is 1.1/4" it...

    what i dont understand is why do they seal the windows in the first palce if there is no need to, maybe its a con to get people to replace the unit when it mists if it isnt sealed then it wouldnt mist up, is it just a good way to get people to buy replacement units
