    radiator bung leaking

Tightening might get it. If not, isolate the radiator, then a few wraps of Loctite 55 or ptfe should sort it.

    Grey adhesive under travertine

Reading through the forum it seems the best practice is to use white adhesive when installing light travertine. I have some what I would describe is darkish travertine. On the box it has a 1 to 5 shade description and these are no.4 if that gives you an idea how dark they are. They seem to me...

    Pearlstone shower tray

I am no expert in this field but after researching to fit out my own bathroom... 1. Follow the manufacturers instructions, so in your case go for a bed of mortar. It will also be easier to get the the tray level. 2. The concencus on here seems to be to leave a 5mm gap below your lowest...

    Setting out travertine

I will be tiling a shower cubicle and bathroom floor with 18' x 18' square travertine tiles. Just setting the tiles out and deciding whether to use a bonded style. I like the look of the bonded style but I have never seen it done before with square tiles. I have trawled through loads of...

Nope. The recommended height of the units adjacent above a hob is 460mm. Unless the manufacturers instructions say otherwise. Andy.
