Will AEG batteries fit RYOBI? and other advice questions...

lol - kind of .. Funnily enough i did intentionally write Dept Of Defence but i unintentionally wrote the abbr DoD. I only realised i had used this abbr after BaS'heds told me i was wrong twice and I re-read my posting. Back to my original point however - was that specs & guidelines...

Floorboard access, instead of JB's can i use WAGO connectors

I apologise for my use of terminology - i just typed the original posting of the top of my head and posted it without proof reading and was thinking in american, when i say "we referred to it internally as"; i am not saying that is what teams used internally across the gov, i was referring to...

Floorboard access, instead of JB's can i use WAGO connectors

Not to get to far off topic.. but internally we referred to it as the dept of defence and as some one who did work there I would know what we called it internally :) PS.. This is irrelevant...can we stick to the original thread.

Floorboard access, instead of JB's can i use WAGO connectors

As the original poster i must chirp in here.. Having worked for the dept of defence for a large part of my career. I can honestly say that for all my moaning and grumbling about the way the DoD does things - the one thing they do extremely well is in writing guidelines and...

Floorboard access, instead of JB's can i use WAGO connectors

ElectronicsUk i appreciate your viewpoint. Unfortunately I do not have the relevant experience or knowledge on matters of UK-Electrics to really have a strong opinion. If the tradesmen on here, who after all do this job on a day to day basis and know what works in the field and what...

Floorboard access, instead of JB's can i use WAGO connectors

What started my questioning was the TLS website http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Main_Index/Boxes_and_Enclosures_Index/Wago/index.html Under "Wago 224 Series Lighting Connectors" - "notes" - "point 3" it states "Replace crimp and twist connections" If they are 'no-no' then so be it - i am not...

Floorboard access, instead of JB's can i use WAGO connectors

Whooooaaa easy tiger.... With all due respect, there was no question of me trying to circumvent regs. I was led to believe the regs stated screwed JBs had to be accessible, the reason being that the screws came loose!! So i asked if using screwless connectors such as WAGO are allowed...
