Dinning room and living room becoming one big room

To be honest that sounds about right, its not just a case of smashing bricks out. What you have to consider is that the job is highly skilled as your whole upper house is resting on the beam. Get it wrong and.... Be very careful who you employ for this work as if you get a quote for £600 you...

id put rad on straight away and tighten union nuts a little but dont fill rad and take off again for painting, or just fill and use mini rollers. Reason is the 'trv' as the temp changes all the time it may open up a bit and leak unless you have used a decorators cap 8) agree with the...

    badly done job

Dont pay up until your happy with the job, but realistic your never going to be happy with the job... i wouldnt be! And NO the ceiling shouldnt bounce at all. Check hes used 12.5mm boards as i'm guessing the prat has opted for 9.5mm to save all of about £5 in total. Also 11 years...

    speedfit pipe with no inserts....

strange isnt it, i honestly thought they were guaranteed to fail without inserts. But i think the speedfit PEX pipe is pretty solid enough without them as when i insert them i dont really see or feel the difference but its worth using them just for the peace of mind.
