    that will easily go through ceramic for you, dont use hammer action and use an offcut of plasterboard if you have any to use as a template. just use the drill bit through the board first away from the wall, then hold the board up at the wall and be very patient when doing it..... dont rush!

    you would pva before but dont use bonding on the wall as its not suitable for tiling! Couldnt you level it with rapid set tile addy???? or hack the bonding off and baton the wall out and use aquapanel again then no need for the tanking which will save money also.

    Sum advice needed on replacing the rear brakes on 2.0ghia focus 52 reg, calipers and discs/pads are on the back. How do you remove the caliper is it just the 2 bolts??? plus do i need a certain tool to wind the pistons back again? help appreciated

    You should have a few chrome looking clips that srew to theses blocks, then the panel sits inbetween these and the bath assuming that iv understood what you mean???? probably need a few batons at base to screw panel to also so its not flapping about everywhere.

    BAL is a high spec product! pic 3 is of the first tile above the bath??? if so thats terrible as the joint is far to big and shouldnt even be grouted!!! it should be siliconed before the tiles are fitted and then once the baths filled siliconed again to finish off. you have every right to...

    BINGO!!! MUST BE FLEXIBLE ADHESIVE AND GROUT. There is so much crap out there that will last about 5 minutes! Be careful they havnt used crappy adhesive and grout to save on materials, i know they obviously are running a business but you got to use quality materials which are longer laster...

    trowel size depends on condition of wall also.... worse the wall and bigger the tile= bigger the trowel, You will use more adhesive also. (use flexible powder addy) Think and measure carefully before mixing your addy, measure and make marks on walls and avoid tiny slither cuts as they will...

    yep they are all endfeed joints, just found it strange as every other joint has been fine. Good job its only my sisters house :D The make of endfeed used is flowflex from screwfix, dont know if anyone has experience with these fittings???
