Really to big an area to do alone, Job needs 2 plasterers. If u r doing the job for a customer a joint bead would look ameteurish.

Have to strip many rooms in a house some rooms have about 4 layers. Are the steaming tools best for this. Thanks

No PVA just add optimix with 4-1 mix. Damp the wall first.

Work alone but this limits me ,large walls not really a problem but large ceilings forget it.

If it was a bathroom wall it must have been a smallish wall ,this should really be no problem at all so i sugest you need more practice .

Its used for the final trowel on the wall to close the plaster down and acheive a smooth flat finish.

Board and reskim

Plasterboard and skim is a good option . Do not employ the plasterer that said the plaster might fall off the ceiling, if its done correctly he should have no problems skimming the ceiling.

Thats a big ceiling .Lets hope the plasterer has a labourer with him to mix otherwise hes got his work cut out.
