Samba irobot vacuum cleaner - lost instruction manual

Oh my word, thank you JJ, that is soooo close. Lots of the manual is the same, but the error codes on my machine are E001, E002 etc. The only one I can remember is E004 means the right wheel is stuck.

Is it possible to increase water-level in washer--with fully electronic sensor--no pressure-switch?

If allergy sufferers are having trouble with washing powder/liquid not being fully rinsed out of their cloths, then perhaps they should try using Ecoballs from Ecozone which rely on ionic action. I've used then for about 20 years. My husband was an electrician working on site, and I work in an...

Beko Fridge Freezer - Fridge icing up and freezing food

We had a power cut and after that the fridge went into overdrive. The cooling panel at the back was caked in ice. I think the ice insulates it, so the temperature where the thermostat is doesn't feel cold, so doesn't switch off, and the fridge therefore keeps running. I defrosted the fridge...

    Hair dryer keeps cutting out

Wish I'd though of this before, cos I hate sending things to landfill - I asked my hairdresser who pointed out the filter was probably clogged. I took off the removable cap, and she was right, the filter was clogged. It fell apart when I tried to clean it - it's a very open pore foam filter...

    Hair dryer keeps cutting out

Hi folks Have had good dependable service from my hair dryer using the middle setting for about 10 years. I always use it in the same way, but now half way through drying my hair it cuts out. Once it's cooled down I can use it again. If I use it on coolest setting it doesn't do this. I tried...

Hi folks I there any way of telling it the blue fluid in a 2l water bottle is antifreeze or screenwash? I diluted it a while ago but can't remember which it is :? When I shake the bottle there are lots of bubbles, but does coolant do that as well as screenwash? It's bright blue if...

How do I get data off an old SCSI drive?

Hi. I am trying to get data off an old SCSI drive. I think the SCSI card was broken so bought one off ebay. All plugged in on another desktop PC. The SCSI drive spins nicely but is not recognised by the PC at all (cannot see in Disk Management). Having spoken with a friend I understand the...

can I charge ipod touch from camera charger

Well I have my own answer: yes! Had read some posts on other forums which say it doesn't work, but since output only .55A I thought it won't blow the ipod up. Lat night I plugged the ipod touch in and nothing appeared to be happening - no tone or icon to show it was charging. But this...

can I charge ipod touch from camera charger

I usually charge my ipod touch via USB port on my laptop. I'm going on holiday and not taking lappie with me, but my camera has a charger that is simply a mains plug with a USB socket in the back of it. It says output is 5V, .55A. Is it ok to use that to charge the ipod? Thanks Mary

thumping great draft between skirting and laminate floor

Magic - room now much warmer. Got to be the best cost+effort to benefit ratio possible for a DIY job. Cost me under four quid for the caulk, then only prep was move furniture out the way and vacuum the floor. Then no clearing up to do afterwards. As I said - magic! Thanks for your help...

thumping great draft between skirting and laminate floor

There's a sizeable gap - about 5mm in most places - between the under side of the skirting and the top of the laminate flooring. I forget what the pro said when he laid it but with these high winds I've noticed a big draft, especially on the outside walls. No wonder my bedroom never warms up...

Sandy soil - best way to increase organic material cheaply

Thank you for all your replies, particularly Ceres which fortunately I read before they were edited. They have helped me to decide my plan of attack is: 1 well rotted manure on to ground - going to take quite a few trips but I'll think of it as free gym membership 2 mini digger to break up...
