    Thanks for the tips gents. I got the job done using a 2 of the suggestions above to loosen the torx bit then did the rest with a 300,, flexible bit holder from screwfix on a cordless screwdriver.

    To update, I called the receptionist again and the decision date is 2nd of July but don't hold my breath. The application was 9 weeks ago. She said they were delayed because they couldn't get to use the big printer. We do have notices up in this area by the way.
