have checked power supply to the fuel pump, its live pump not working, is this an expensive part?

Its a W reg 1.7d Corsa, i am trying to figure out if its an electric or mechanical pump. We had a look in the fuse box and the fuse marked FI was blown, could this be causing the problem? When the breakdown company came out they sprayed ether into the fuel pump and the engine started ok.

Manual is usually a position used when draining system, you probably have it working as it should be ie on auto, it won't hurt anything as long as it works it will be okay what make is it?.

Have you checked the internal fuse on pcb?.

Take a look at Remeha Advanta boilers IMHO much better than WB.

Sounds like it may have been stuck and by manually moving it you have freed it up, if it stays working until you have boiler replaced all well and good.

Probably near where the pump is square box with either two pipes in which case you will have two or one with three pipes, also feel pump to see if it's running as this would also be controlled by m/v.

IMHO buy new aav, cheap standard 3/8 inch rather than try cleaning old one.
