I believe the boiler is a Glowworm ulitmate 30? using a honeywell C27, the settings if 'OFF' but the pump can still be heard, not really played with the panel yet. There is no setting on the pump except for the speed settings.

is there somewhere I can check the running time? I think its the central heating but it could just be for the whole hot water system. I've just noticed this because I can hear the humming when I'm in bed, though not so bad but sometimes find it annoying.

Ok i've dismantled it and your right, something has seized as there is now water coming out of the pipe. How do I take the triton lp apart? The screws all look too tight to take off. Please advise

check valve is in the mixer right? Is it common for the hot water pipe one to jam and the cold side being ok? I think its best i buy the same one again as the large hole in the wall can only be covered by triron lp. I'll be happy if i get water flow from both pipes. Will report back...

well i'll try the airlock way first, tho not very hopeful. failing that, i'll dismantle the mixer shower unit and hope that there will be water flowing out of the hot water pipe. If that fails, i'm at a lost :cry:

the shower head is about 1m or less. But i took the hose connected to the mixer tap off so i can see if any water will come out. so to answer your 2nd question, no water comes out at all when just the cold water valve off.

i think i'll try and return the item to B&Q and say item is not fit for purpose for a refund. I'll stick to the old one i guess for now and maybe if i decide to do a whole ensuite revamp, I can then do it properly

looking at the plate, iti has 3 screws, which grips in the middle and each side. Would this not be good enough and the plate covered the gap? Its going to be a nightmare to find those 2 tiles and replace them :shock:

Hi all, I'm trying to change an old triton mixer shower with a triton petita mini mixer. The problem is the old one had a plate to cover the gaps the previous owners made. This new one doesnt cover the gap properly. Is there a blanking plate or would I need to fabricate a thin metal plate...
